19,20: A causa di venti d’alta quota, che superano del 20% gli estremi fissati per il lancio, il decollo del #FalconHeavy é stato spostato a non prima delle 20:50 ora italiana! Tutti gli avvisi automatizzati sono stati riadattati a questa nuova tempistica.
19,05: L’astronauta Scott Kelly comunica che il lancio è ora confermato per le 21,05. Intanto a Cape Canaveral è arrivato anche Harrison Ford, espressamente invitato da Musk ad assistere al lancio. Si dice che i vettori Falcon portano tale nome in onore del Millenium Falcon, l’astronave capitanata da Ford nei panni di Han Solo in Star Wars.
18,50: Nessuna nuova comunicazione ufficiale, per ora, ma l’inizio della diretta su you tube è ora fissato per le 21.00.
18,37: Il lancio, inizialmente previsto alle 19,30, ora italiana, è stato posposto alle 20,20 a causa del forte vento. L’account twitter di SpaceX, comunque, riferisce che le condizioni meteo restano al 90% favorevoli. Ricordiamo che la finestra di lancio odierna si chiuderà alle 22,30.
